How Old Are You?

Everything I know I learned after I was thirty. - Georges Clemenceau

Time and Tide wait for no man, but time always stands still for a woman of thirty. - Robert Frost
I am not sure if I believe either of these, but they do help me sleep better now.
Ok, So most of you know that I turned 30 last week. I am really struggling with the whole thing. I'm not sure why. I mean, I am married with three kids, it only makes sense that I should be 30. My birthday was spent mainly feeling sorry for myself, but I did have many wonderful birthday wishes and most of the people at work wore black in honor of my big milestone (thanks guys). Brady bought a new toy (shown below) that I am using right now. It is so cool!!!!! I even went out to celebrate Friday night with some friends form work and had way too much fun!! So now that I am a week into my thirties, I have to admit, my life really hasn't changed all that much. I am just trying to avoid the dreaded question- How old are you?

Oh I think 30 is much better than 29. At 29 you are just putting off the inevitable and you really don't act like you're in your "20s" anymore. I can't wait to be 30. Maybe then I'll feel like a grown up!! Plus, the older we get, the more we can just do whatever we want without having to make any excuses for ourselves. We can say because I want to and I've earned it, that's why!
