I am sitting in my living room with my coffee listening to the sound of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and three babies that are playing rather than watching it. I can smell the perfectly scheduled poopy diaper- waiting for me. I look toward the kitchen at three empty bowls of cereal, sticky counter tops, and three half-full sippy-cups of milk- waiting for me. In the back of my mind I am creating a daily agenda which includes folding ten loads of clothes, going to the grocery store for the fifth time this week, finishing the Christmas decorations, cleaning up what is not even messed up yet, and hopefully going to the gym.
With all of that said, I am taking the time to express to you, my family and friends, what I am thankful for this year.
1. Home
2. My mom and dad- you have been more helpful this year than I can say
3. Ben, Britt, and the Price Family- you have also been more helpful than I can say
4. My school- for welcoming Jack and me back with open arms
5. My husband- who is making the most difficult sacrifice imaginable for his family
6. My in-laws- you have helped me tremendously with my children
7. Brady's brother and his wife- for taking Brady in
8. My friends and the rest of my family- who have been there for me and my children
9. Jack- for being so sensitive and sleeping by my side every night
10. Camille- for keeping me on my toes constantly and being so funny
11. Henry- for your contagious smile and sleeping so well
12. Pluto- for still loving me as much as ever even though I barely even pet you anymore
There are so many more things that I could add but my agenda above is calling and the poopy diaper is beginning to make everyone sick.
