The Littlest Christmas Tree

I had a full circle moment this week. I have been teaching first grade at my school since 2003 (the year that I was pregnant for Jack). I remember the that year like it was yesterday. The other teachers and I were preparing our students for our annual first grade play. I remember thinking that one day, my new baby would be up there. This week, Jack was Santa Claus in our play. He did a fabulous job! I was so shocked that he was even willing to do it. I only cried for just a moment as he walked down the sidewalk on his way to the gym and all of his peers waved to him with excitement!
