Growing Up Politics

When I was 7 years old, my dad began his on and off career in politics. This has led me to be an informed voter among many things. Last night, we brought our children to their first political function.

Buddy Roemer, our former governor and potential presidential candidate came to town and spoke to a large crowd. My dad happens to be his campaign manager so it was a family effort to make it happen.

I wanted my kids to be a part of this, like I was when I was young. DUMB IDEA!! The picture below shows Jack's interest. Camille and Henry had to quickly be removed from the room.
